The Firecrafter program came to Camp Red Wing in the early 1940's from the neighboring Central Indiana Council. This service program lasted until the mid 1950's when the OA Lodge 512 was started.
The requirements of the Firecrafter program are similar to the Boy Scout rank requirements thus allowing each Scout the opportunity to expand his Scouting knowledge while providing worthly service.
First Rank - Camper - Followed the Tenderfoot Requirments
Second Rank -- Woodsman - Followed the Second Class Requirements
