A special tribute to Thomas J. Tighe - a long time Scouter who served on staff in the beginning years of Camp Red Wing
Photos from the Thomas J. Tighe Collection / Jack Spears
This 1925 photo shows local Scouts with Aretus and Glenna Rees on their farm.
1925 - The road into camp, at that time, was a lane leading thru the Rees farm. To get to the camp site, a foot bridge had to be built to cross the White River. A cable was strung across as a means of transporting water and other heavy items. The river was used to provide a swimming and boating area.
